CLIFF BURTON, The Serpent & Creeping Death

Report: CLIFF BURTON, The Serpent & Creeping Death

By Randy “Rocket” Cody

(part 3 of a 3 part report)

My independent death investigation for late METALLICA bassist Cliff Burton has yielded some very intriguing evidence that suggests foul play was involved in the musician’s tragic death back in 1986.

To begin with, there is a major discrepancy in the timeline of events that Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield told everyone.

The driving distance from Solna, Sweden to Ljungby, Sweden is: 270 miles

If you are traveling @ 60mph= it takes 4:30 hours( give or take depending on traffic)

If METALLICA got on the bus once they did 1 hour catering after the final gig with Cliff and all the dudes in Anthrax, it puts them on the road roughly at midnight...

We went back and wrote a few songs and they fucking rip. So right after this tour I’m going into the studio like three days after this and gonna track some shit. It’s already written. It’s an EP, not an LP. It’s like six songs, it rips.”

IMPERIALIST – Debut Album Details Revealed

US black metal band IMPERIALIST are slated to unleash their debut full-length album via Transcending Obscurity Records. Their brand of black metal is inspired by the Swedish black metal scene and is furthermore worked upon to exude a thrash vibe.

Imperialist have conjured up a brilliant sci-fi themed album that stands out both conceptually as well as musically. Rooted in the early Swedish black metal sound of luminaries like Necrophobic, Dissection and Sacramentum, Imperialist hone it up further to suit their futuristic theme by adding touches of thrash metal without diluting the rich aura. An official autobiography of late MEGADETH drummer Nick Menza titled ‘Megalife‘ is set for a December 11th release on Post Hill Press. J. Marshall Craig helped write the book with the below official synopsis offered:

“With Nick Menza behind the kit, Megadeth transitioned from celebrated cult band to international superstars. Rust in Peace, the first album to feature Menza and Marty Friedman, was instantly considered a classic, sold over a million copies, got nominated for a Grammy Award, and established what many consider to be the definitive Megadeth lineup. It was the beginning of a remarkable run in which the band would release three career-defining albums and tour the world many times over.

BLACK TUSK – Debut New Song

BLACK TUSK has premiered another new track from their forthcoming album, T.C.B.T., which will be available on August 17 via Season of Mist. You can listen to “Closed Eye” HERE.

Black Tusk has lived through the kind of hardship and heartbreak that would cripple a lesser band, but it’s that dedication, and gumption, and pure bullheaded stubbornness that’s taken them around the world and as far away from the lacey Spanish moss and sweltering streets of Savannah than any of them could’ve dared dream.

Black Tusk was born from sweat. There was blood, and maybe a few tears, too, but more than anything, it was sweat that marked the earliest years of Savannah, Georgia’s Black Tusk...
