SOUNDGARDEN – “Black Hole Sun” Live Video

SOUNDGARDEN have released a live video for their track “Black Hole Sun.” The performance is taken from their live film, ‘Soundgarden: Live From The Artist’s Den‘. That film captures a February 17th, 2013 show the band played at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA. It will be released on Blu-ray, digital, etc. formats next Friday, July 26th.

“When I think of Soundgarden, I think of a sound, I think of one entity, one organic thing,” says singer and guitarist Chris Cornell, “but I guess that the exciting part is that it’s always been really varied.”

Hailed as grunge innovators, Soundgarden redefined rock music for a generation. In the 80s and 90s, the band’s mesmerising soundscapes and compelling lyrics seduced audiences hungry for originality...

The band formed in the early part of the 1990s in Bakersfield, California, and originally consisted of five members: singer Jonathan Davis, bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu, guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer, drummer David Silveria, and guitarist Brian “Head” Welch.

In 1994,...
