Wednesday 13’s current Lonesome Road To Hell Tour ends November 24th in Los Angeles at The Whisky. A week and a half later on December 5th, W13 will be hitting the studio to begin recording his eighth full-length album. That must mean everything is completely written? “Yes, for the most part,” answers The Duke of Spook, speaking exclusively to Brave Words scribe Aaron Small aboard his tour bus, which is parked outside The Rockpile in Toronto.

JOHN 5 – 2019 North American Tour Dates


Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 will head out on his own with his backing band The Creatures (bassist Ian Ross and drummer Logan Miles Nix) early in the new year on a tour with Jared James Nichols. He will mount the trek in support of his forthcoming new album, “Invasion“. While there’s no set release date for the album, John 5 will be launching a brand new music video for the ‘Scooby-Doo!-inspired track “Zoinks!” from it on January 01st, 2019.

Matt Zane directed that clip, which features animation from Brett Broggs (‘Frozen‘, ‘Wreck-It Ralph‘) and voice acting from Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe, etc. fame and Susan Olsen of ‘The Brady Bunch‘ fame, as well as Fred Coury.

VENOM – Debut New Song


“Bring Out Your Dead”, a new song from black metal pioneers VENOM, can be streamed online. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming 15th full-length studio album, “Storm The Gates”, which will be released on December 14 through Spinefarm Records. The follow-up to 2015’s “From The Very Depths” will be made available on CD and digital formats, with vinyl and cassette versions to arrive in early 2019.

Doro and her band will kick off their big Forever United, Forever Warriors world tour in Bremen today. To celebrate the occasion, Doro’s record company Nuclear Blast release the song “Freunde Fürs Leben” (meaning: friends for life) as a digital download. Get it HERE.

From the song to the tour, Doro explains how it all came about: “On our website, we invited the fans to send us their dream set list for the upcoming tour. In this poll, ‘Freunde Fürs Leben’ landed right at the top.”
For Doro, this choice wasn’t a surprise: “This song was dedicated to the fans right from the start. It was one of my personal favorites during the production of the new album, and I already knew while singing in the studio that the fans would love ‘Freunde Fürs Leben’ – at least I had hoped for it.”

After roughly a decade with the band, bassist David DaRocha has quit BORN OF OSIRIS. His spot will be filled by Nick Rossi. The group has issued the following statement:

“We want to officially state that our brother, David, has decided to take time away from the band to pursue other endeavors. We’re all family and wish him the very best.
