VOLBEAT – Debut New Music Video

VOLBEAT have unleashed a music video for their song “Last Day Under The Sun.” You can view it above. The band once again teamed with director Jakob Printzlau on the clip with the song’s lyrics taking inspiration from a book which vocalist/guitarist Michael Poulsen read about the late country legend Johnny Cash.

He commented of that “When I read his book, he went through tough times with alcohol and drugs… He walked into a cave to lay down to die. Norwegian metallic d-beat group AGENDA, formed by current and former members of Avast, Nag and Töxik Death, have recently shared a new track titled “Suffer”. Listen via the following link:

BEHEADED – Streaming New Album In Its Entirety

Maltase death metal act BEHEADED have shared an advance stream of their new album, Only Death Can Save You, which is set to be released tomorrow (Friday, June 14) via Agonia Records. You can check it out above.

Beheaded signed to Unique Leader Records after they decided to terminate their deal with Mighty Music and look for better conditions with a different label. They recorded a two-track promo, which caught the attention of the US label, and led to the band signing to them in August 2004.

Despite rumors of splitting up in 2007, the band remains active.

The band also released a number of rehearsal and live tapes prior to their official demo in 1995.

DEMON HUNTER – Summer Tour Dates Announced

DEMON HUNTER are slated to perform more than 20 songs each night at a series of special shows this summer.

‘An Evening With’ Demon Hunter is an epic mixture of fan favorite anthems and deep cuts that have never been performed live. Both electric and acoustic presentations will feature songs that span the band’s ten studio albums, including their most recent, War and Peace, which were released simultaneously earlier this year.

“We’re building a show that’s unlike anything we’ve done before,” vocalist/co-founder Ryan Clark explained. “We’ll have video installations, created specifically for this tour, during set changes. We are planning the biggest lighting/staging production we’ve ever done, surpassing even the Stronger Than Hell tour we did back in the day.”

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal act HATRIOT are slated to unleash their new album, “From Days Unto Darkness”, on July 26 via Massacre Records. The disc marks the group’s first release with Cody Souza on the microphone, following the departure of his father, Steve “Zetro” Souza (now singing again in EXODUS).

According to Blabbermouth.net, “Paolo Girard created a very symbolic album cover by featuring themes based upon the horrors around the end of the world, the hypocrisy that surrounds religion and corrupt world leaders, and the carnage bestowed on the final days of humanity. SOUNDGARDEN’s platinum selling 1996 album is next in line for the band’s 35th anniversary vinyl celebration. This new pressing of the record will be a 2-LP set with one LP on marbled orange vinyl and the other on purple. It’s currently slated for a June 28th release date and can be pre-ordered here.
