The ST tour coincides with the No Mercy Fool!/The Suicidal Family offering released September 7 via the band’s own Suicidal Records. The record features re-recorded tracks from SUICIDAL TENDENCIES’ second album, Join The Army originally released in 1987, as well as tunes from the second full-length from No Mercy, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES guitarist Mike Clark’s speed metal band (which found ST vocalist Mike Muir on vocals) from 1986. Also included is a new version of the classic ST track, “Possessed To Skate.” A video for the song is also in the works. Get ready for the cyco invasion!
Randy “Rocket” Cody of The Metal Den adds:
“On No Mercy Fool!/The Suicidal Family the kings of skate punk/thrash metal have essentially re-recorded songs yanked from ST’s classic Join the Army album and some tracks from the 1987 debut of Venice, California’s NO MERCY, vocalist Mike Muir’s long ago band project with renowned ST guitarist Mike Clark. The band’s Widespread Bloodshed… Love Runs Red was the only record the band ever did, and to be point blank… it’s some of the most blazing shit I’ve heard all year long.”
