Doom metal veterans Candlemass put up the title track to their forthcoming EP “Black Star“. A visualizer for that song has also newly been shared to accompany the song. The band had the following to share of today’s release, “‘Black Star‘ is the big heavy track. Contains a bit of everything, Melodic verse, monolithic riff, up-tempo Sabbathy mid part, grand ending a la Rainbow!.”
“Black Star“(the EP) is being released in celebration of the group’s 40th anniversary and will be arriving on May 09th through Napalm Records. In addition to this track and another new cut, “Corridors Of Chaos“, that effort features covers of Black Sabbath‘s “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” and Pentagram‘s “Forever My Queen“.
