MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s constant in fighting as a band has been going on for decades. Many insiders cite this as the reason the original lineup of the Crue has not released a studio album together in fifteen years and is ultimately what led them to do a farewell tour that ended in 2015. With no other money coming in the band grew desperate to cash in on their past popularity one more time last year. The twice postponed comeback in North America dubbed The Stadium Tour was without a doubt the biggest disaster in rock n roll music history. An exposed old man penis, fake drumming, lip-sync, and horrible concert reviews, was just the tip of the iceberg that the Crue’s all-time worst shit show dropped on everyone like an explosive bowel movement.
With the revelation by TMD that singer Vince Neil attacked drummer Tommy Lee prior to the kickoff their latest cash grab, 36 tour dates that launched in mid-June of 2022 that have unfortunately not only crashed and burned in the most spectacular way possible, but the Stadium Tour’s woes can’t only be blamed on “Vince Meal” and his horrendous singing voice it seems. It has got so bad that Neil is not forced to lip-sync. He has been caught fake singing at Crue gigs early in 2023. Compound this with the shocking Mick Mars lawsuit that has just dropped against Sixx and the boys, after the guitarist was “ousted”. Beyond all of this, the fact is Vince Neil and Tommy Lee simply don’t get along well either, and their intense hatred for one another has sabotaged the group’s shows. In one of the band’s gigs last July, Lee got busted fake drumming. Was it done intentionally? Is Lee indeed trying to destroy his own band’s legacy to exact revenge on Mr. Meal?

In the January 20, 2000, edition of “Rolling Stone,” Lee goes on to tell a story in which he claims that Neil “sucker punched” him in the Las Vegas airport during the band’s tour behind its “Greatest Hits” album. Lee charges that Neil was “doing his usual daily drunk-guy thing” when he punched the drummer in the face.
Flash forward 23 years, and the two rocker’s vehement wrath towards one another has apparently reached its most intense boiling point. It all stems from the “Vince Meal” fight.
TOMMY LEE: “VINCE NEIL And I Absolutely Hate Each Other”
According to The Metal Den, a source close to the Mötley Crüe camp claims that a fight broke out between Vince Neil and Lee during the final rehearsal before their big tour. Supposedly, Tommy Lee was body shaming Vince Neil. Neil got pissed and decided to have a go at Lee.
In Lee’s own words:
“Vince and I fuckin’ absolutely fuckin’ hate each other! So, I can’t imagine going on tour and sitting there being happy doing that. Unless we were to work some shit out, which I just find that to be a little more work than either one of us wants to put in.”
Rumors continue to circulate that the Crue is looking to fire Neil again and replace him. Although, nothing has been confirmed officially.
The Crue’s next leg of their World Tour kicks off in May.
