REVIEW: ANSELMO & The Illegals – “Choosing Mental Illness”

This is the worst album of Phil Anselmo’s career. Former PANTERA vocalist, Philip H. Anselmo And The Illegals, not to be confused with legal citizens, unleash the super stink fest entitled “Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue”. Where do I even begin to start telling you why I think this album sucks worse than anything “The Kid” has ever attached his legendary name to?

How about first off pointing out that nobody chooses mental illness. It chooses them.

I should know a bit about the subject. I recently lost my beloved niece to suicide at age 25.

The US government has admittedly mind hijacked its own citizens with its evil pharmaceutical drugs and MK Ultra program to force a false “schizophrenia” label onto an unwitting person, understand?

The album cover itself depicts mind control lunacy and mental institutionalized people. This is the Luciferian way to mock Christians about such a sensitive subject, okay?

Digging into the actual music, it only gets worse. The songs offered up sound like two pigs fucking and grunting while being recorded. There is nothing extreme nor artistic, in terms of mind blowing metal music because this artist has lost his credibility and his mind. The drums sound like a machine that is broken and keeps repeating the same pattern. The guitars sound like live electrical wires being bombarded with acid rain. It is so frustrating how awful the production quality is I honestly struggled to make it all the way to the final song.

I was listening to late The Plasmatics singer Wendy O. Williams’ solo debut album the other night, produced by Gene Simmons, and I tell you what, that crazy woman sounded ten times more hardcore than Anselmo and she did it in a damn G-string! It should be noted Wendy took her own life at the age of 48 in 1998 via self inflicted gunshot.

Mental Illness, like the pedophile problem in America, is a big knee slapper. Apparently it now helps sell records as a main concept. Unbelievable.

I don’t find any of this garbage entertaining or see that is has any purpose whatsoever other than to push the evil NWO agenda of scaring the shit out of people to force them to submit to American Nazism.

The man who shot to death Anselmo’s ex-guitarist, Dimebag Darrell, in 2004, was labeled a mentally ill reject by the US Marines oddly enough. I have now learned via my own investigation that all signs point to Mr. Gale, 25, being a mind hijacked killer robot used by the CIA to carry out a rock star assassination.

I took heat from Anselmo’s camp a few years back for asking questions during an interview that did not relate to music, such as his connection to the confederate flag, since after all, he used to take pictures with them all of the time back in the day. I was treated like an outcast for asking such a ‘stupid’ question.

Fuck him. Fuck this band. Fuck every person who purchases it.

Now, if Anselmo ever wants to meet me in the center of the ring at my buddies gym located in Dimebag’s old stomps of Fort Worth, Texas, just be a man about it and fight me bare knuckles.
