TMD reveals extremely rare pro-shot footage featuring the late great Randy Rhoads playing guitar in rehearsal for the “Diary Of A Madman” tour. You will see OZZY being interviewed for the show Rock Report (KABC CH 7 in Los Angeles, California) in late 1981, cut together with the rare footage of Rhoads jamming on stage. An important note for Randy fans, all the pro-shot footage that has been seen of Randy from the “DOAM” tour is reportedly from this dress rehearsal.
It is not a full dress rehearsal that was filmed. As the story goes, the dress rehearsal was for three TV stations that were given access to tape two songs by the band as well as have a short interview with Ozzy.
This coming March 19th will mark 28 years since guitarist Randy Rhoads was killed tragically in a plane wreck, leaving a gaping hole in the soul of Rock N Roll music. Now you can celebrate his incredible musical legacy… by being able to experience the legend in his original form. View the extremely rare footage HERE!

Wow… can somebody release something before I die? Randy has been a huge inspiration since I was a teenager. I beg Sharon and Ozzy to give us something. Please stop being so selfish. Please.
i like ozzy and randy as much as any self respecting dude that knows alot of heavey metal and personally randy rhoads is my favorite guitarest and all i got to say is iv ozzy and sharon really care about randy they should show at least some randy footage so that when people see randy playing they will be so inspired by the power of rock that more people will pick up a guitar and play and start hearing more heavy metal and less Stupid Justin Bieber cause he has no talent Randy had talent
Y did it get taken down!!! I can’t see the video! It says it’s been removed! I was too late!!!!! Please if anybody has it, please email it to me at [email protected]
Randy saved ozzys life, not just career. Why can’t we see every bit of footage of the master. How bout the extended jams that exist of the end of “you can’t kill rock n roll” & “little dolls”? Max Norman who produced both rhoads albums said the tracks exist. I’m sure there is tons of stuff.I was blown away to find out bob daisley wrote all of ozzys lyrics. Not too surprised anymore tho.thankyou Randy on behalf of a your fans and disciples.I know you were telling andrew to stop buzzing the bus. You were too good to stay with us, god couldn’t wait to have you in heavens band.
God bless everyone who were smart enough to record anything of Randy back in the day. I was 15 when he died, I found out it in the newswpaper, still have it…
I never dreamed that there would be the things that are out there now of him.
I wish everyday that somebody would release whatever else is out there with Randy, before we go to a retirement home! Not happy with the 30th box set, where’s the randy footage??? {What video was removed?}
To Rhoads family take care, and thank-you.
