TMD has obtained the only known ‘isolated master guitar track’ to exist of Randy Rhoads playing the classic song “Crazy Train” off Ozzy Osbourne’s Blizzard of Ozz album from 1980.
This song was Ozzy’s first single as a solo artist after leaving Black Sabbath.
To hear Randy’s guitar by itself is surely a dream come true. His playing just sounds so amazingly sharp and aggressive in its attack. It will give you that incredible feeling you got after first hearing ‘Blizzard’ all those years ago. If you are only now first learning of Randy as a guitarist, this couldn’t be a better, more pure way – of being introduced to the legend.
This coming March 19th will mark 28 years since Randy was killed tragically in a plane wreck, leaving a gaping hole in the soul of Rock N Roll music. Now you can celebrate his incredible musical legacy… by spending some time alone, one on one , with the late guitar wizard himself. Listen to the track below!

Unbelievable. So many people argue that Randy Rhoads has been sanctified and that his ability has been exaggerated since his death… but this proves it. Randy IS music. This is as close to being the “perfect guitar player” as it gets.
what a find! this an absolute gem. Randy Rhoads is an inspiration to sooooo many guitarists out there myself included. R.I.P RR
Where on earth did you get this from!!!
Do you have any others from Blizzard or Diary?

Chills up & down my spine & tears in my eyes. THAT, made my Monday. Thanks!
Love this man. He was a genius and was taken from us way too soon. He would’ve done even more amazing things. A piece of our history, gone. RIP Randy. We love you.
To this day, Randy’s songwrtitng skills and overall tone are as dominant and amazing at it was the first time we all heard them. Hearing his guitar tracks by themselves show just how great a player he really was.
Wow!!! This is awesome.
This is definitely one of the best guitar songs and solos of all time. I remember learning the song many years ago. I listened to the cassette so many times I wore it out and had to buy a second copy! Boy, does this ever take me back. It is great being able to hear everything so super clear. No time to write anymore, I’ve got to grab my guitar and play Crazy Train!
This is an amazing recording, a true gem hidden for years. To hear Randy playing on an isolated track is just incredible.
God I love Randy, his playing has always touched my soul!!
