MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s troubled lead vocalist Vince Neil has been called a lot of things, but a “good singer” is not one of them. Plagued by bad reviews from rock critics, The Stadium Tour last year goes down in history as the greatest downfall of a rock band ever witnessed, as confirmed by the band’s ousted guitarist Mick Mars, 72, who said the glam metal group’s twice postponed comeback gigs were the worst 36 Crue concerts he was ever a part of.
Neil has seen better days for sure, and despite his promise to lose weight and be in shape for the long haul, fans learned fast that was not the case. The rotund vocalist needed a teleprompter to help remember lyrics and he ultimately opted to use pre-recorded tape and lip sync for most the shows last year and predominantly at their gigs without Mars in 2023. What can fans expect in 2024 when they return to North America for another tour?
Watch footage of Neil performing the wrong lyrics to a classic Crue song, but be warned, it might make you pee yourself from laughter.
