MÖTLEY CRÜE’s Big Comeback Crashes And Burns, Fans Stiffed As Tommy Lee Quits Halfway Through Set!

In an extremely shocking turn of events, the mighty MÖTLEY CRÜE’s long awaited comeback (June 16) saw the expected train wreck go off the tracks after only five songs into the band’s set. Drummer Tommy Lee, oddly just like Vince Neil did after falling off the stage at a solo gig last year, has also broken his ribs. He claims it happened before the show. What happened? Did Vince sit on him? Drummer Tommy Clufetos replaced him for the rest of the set. Although miraculously Lee rejoined his bandmates for “Home Sweet Home” toward the very end. Check out fan filmed footage for the song “Wild Side” down below.

With a very humid Atlanta, Georgia weather condition (near 70% humidity!!!), and the temps in the mid 90s, fans complained it was “too hot” and yet they toughed it out (mask free during the Covid-19 surge) enjoying a spirted set by glam rockers POISON prior to the Crue’s bungled jam.

Vince Neil struggled bad to hit the high notes in Crue classics he became famous for several decades earlier, and at points it looks as if Nikki Sixx was not happy with Vince’s weak vocal performance. In fact, the band cranked up the drums, bass and guitar in the mix so loud that it does a good job of covering up how shaky Vince truly sounds.
