Arby’s has a new spokesman: Vince Neil of MÖTLEY CRÜE!
The previous spokesman was H. Jon Benjamin, the voice of the lead character in the animated hit TV show “Archer.” In his appearances as on-camera pitchman for the quick-service brand, Benjamin introduced a new tagline that plays off Arby’s longtime slogan, “Arby’s. We have the meats.” An off-screen announcer utters those words.
Well, the wait to take the brand to the top is over. Vince Neil is ready to deliver his meat like no other. The singer released a statement today:
“I’m so proud to be the face of Arby’s! I love to eat a lot of food, that’s no big secret, so getting offered to be spokesman for the company and to appear in upcoming commercials seemed like a no brainer. I know I’m still a little heavy and the fans think I need to lose my gut so I can sing better, but nothing is going to stop me from chowing down on my favorite grub. Arby’s has been one of my go to spots for years!”
Neil is hoping this will be the big change that helps get his new persona going and take some of the heat off his failing to get in proper shape for the upcoming Crue comeback tour in 2022. Fans can catch Vince Neil singing the Crue classics at his August/2021 gig at The Hippopotamus Swim-Up Bar.
If fans will recall, Neil was previously fired by Jenny Craig as their spokesman due to his becoming too inebriated at the kick off party, where it’s said he got totally shitfaced drunk and caused a big ruckus for the execs when he broke a glass table.
