Belgium’s LENG TCH’E is currently preparing to record their next full-length album. Here’s the official word:
“So it’s been a while since our last update but that’s because we’ve been crazy busy playing shows (UK Deathfest, Neurotic Deathfest, Gore Galore Fest, Suffering Life Fest – they all kicked ass) and writing songs for the next album. That’s right, I said it! We currently have fourteen songs ready for a total playing time of 35 minutes. The plan is to record drums at the end of this month, guitars and bass next month and vocals in September. Then it’s off to England to mix and master that sucker with grindcore producer extraordinaire Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Brujeria, Venomous Concept)! We couldn’t be more stoked. The new material is fast, brutal and with that extra touch of Leng Tch’e special sauce that made ‘Marasmus’ a heavy metal landmark, ha! Expect a release somewhere late-2009/early-2010.”
