Vince Neil – The Good, The Fat & The Ugly

The biggest unanswered question in Heavy Metal right now – besides when will concerts return – is will legendary MÖTLEY CRÜE vocalist, Vince Neil, lose enough weight to be ready for his band’s epic comeback tour?

The troubled singer is currently battling a major weight issue that has begun to plague his vocal performance and ability to move around the stage, without having to be rolled into his spot behind the microphone.

MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s longtime manager Allen Kovac took it upon himself to address the rampant criticism of Neil for his supposed diminished singing ability and weight gain.

“The greatest insecurity for an artist is: Is anyone going to care about my music? Is anyone going to buy a ticket?,” Kovac told Fox News.

The Crue’s forthcoming stadium tour with Def Leppard has been rescheduled from its original run in 2020 to summer of 2021, but despite the Corona Virus pandemic keeping the boys comeback from happening at the moment, it seriously looks like Vince’s weight problem, that has taken a huge toll on the band collectively, is what might be the death nail in this attempted return to hair metal glory.

In December of last year, Vince told “Extra” that “there’s a lot of sacrifice” involved in getting ready for a tour of this magnitude. ‘You have to do everything that you have to do — because from running around clubs to running around theaters to running around arenas to running around stadiums, there’s a whole big difference,” he said. “You’ve gotta be ready for it.”

Speaking specifically about NeilKovac said: “Let’s see what Vince sings like and looks like when the tour goes out.”

Vince has remained out of the public eye for the majority of 2020, other than a few new photos early in the year that were shared on facebook and other spots.

There were crazy rumors that stated Vince had escaped a UK weight loss clinic amid other scandalous fake news headlines, like Vince winning a pie eating contest, along with suggesting that Vince is now working out with celeb trainer, Mr. T., and including the unbelievable story about Vince being fired as Jenny Craig’s weight loss spokesperson. What is the truth? Is Vince ever going to return to original form again?

There was even a shocking news story that claimed Vince is going to be replaced by singer Michael Starr of Steel Panther.
