EDSEL DOPE – Slams Tripp Eisen

DOPE frontman Edsel Dope has totally slammed former Static-X guitarist Tripp Eisen. Edsel‘s statement follows Eisen‘s recent press release, in which he claimed to have been instrumental in the ongoing Static-X reunion which resulted in last week’s release of a new album, “Project Regeneration, Vol. 1“. That album saw new songs constructed around various previously unreleased recordings from the band’s late frontman Wayne Static.

Edsel has long been rumored to be the current frontman of Static-X known as ‘Xer0‘. In his press release, Eisen claims to have brought Edsel into the fold for that very role. Eisen  also revealed in his press release that he took issue with his share of the writing credits for a handful of the songs featured on “Project Regeneration, Vol. 1“.

He went on to state that he took legal action against the band last spring after being unhappy with the changes they made to songs he was originally involved in writing.

In response to Eisen‘s statement, Edsel opened up via social media today (July 14th) on Eisen‘s, relationship with Wayne Static and Eisen‘s criminal past, which included charges related to having sex with 14-year-old girl which saw him fired from Static-X back in 2005. Eisen went to prison for those charges. Notably, Eisen was also previously a member of Dope prior to joining Static-X.

Edsel’s statement reads as follows:

Keep my name out of your talentless mouth!

I fired you 20 years ago, because you are an egotistical, low talent idiot and Static X fired you more than 15 years ago because you were a 40 Year old creep, who was arrested for having sexual relations with multiple 14 year old fan girls. DEPLORABLE!

You have not progressed in the least bit. Not even after spending 2 separate stints in jail.

You are an antagonist, who paints himself as a victim.

BOO HOO & FUCK YOU!

Meanwhile, You’ve never even apologized to our metal community for betraying all of our trust, by preying on young, impressionable fan girls for your own selfish perversions.

And now, you are trying to attach your name to an incredibly well orchestrated memorial / tribute that you had ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with.
