AMORPHIS had to postpone their plans for their 30th anniversary touring this year in the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Among those runs was their North American tour with Entombed A.D. and Nervosa, on which Amorphis intended to perform their 1994 sophomore album “Tales From The Thousand Lakes” in full each night. That tour was ultimately cancelled, but the band aren’t giving up on celebrating their anniversary.
To that end, they are putting together two livestreamed anniversary shows, each which different setlists. Those shows will take place June 03rd and 04th with tickets available via semilive.fi. The June 03rd performance is being aimed at the band’s fans in North American audiences, while the June 04th set is intended for audiences in Finland, Europe, UK and Russia.
