Swedish death metal act DERANGED have premiered the first single, “Necro-bulimia Interfering Afterlife,” off their new album, Deeds Of Ruthless Violence, due out March 27th via Agonia Records. The song is available in the form of a lyric video above.
“Beginning with their second demo, 1992’s “…the Confessions of a Necrophile,” Sweden’s Deranged set about making their case as one of the world’s sickest, most gore-obsessed death metal outfits. Formed the previous year by Per Gyllenbäck (vocals), Johan Axelsson (guitar), Jean-Paul Asenov (bass) and Rikard Wermén (drums), the band was hampered by countless line-up changes and general indifference throughout the 1990’s, but they’ve soldiered on regardless with a number of independent releases under their belts. These include the Architects of Perversion and Sculpture of the Dead E.P.s (both 1994), and albums such as ‘96’s Rated-X, ‘98’s High on Blood and ‘99’s III, ‘01’s Deranged and ‘02’s Plainfield Cemetery.” – All Music
