Have VAN HALEN been working on a new studio album? Or are we just going to get more “BS” when it comes to the truth?
“While representatives are keeping tight-lipped, reports have been circulating on the Internet. There have been strong rumors that the rock band is finally returning to the recording studio working on a what might be a back-to-roots album.”
Randy “Rocket” Cody of TheMetalDen.com adds:
“I don’t believe a damn word about an original Van Halen reunion happening. Not even the band can get their stories straight.”
“According to a source, rumors of Van Halen (David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen and Sammy Hagar) working in recording studio are true, with as many as eight songs having been put to tape. “It’s still in the early stages,” “They got security on the doors to ensure no-one hears a whisper,” a source said.”
David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar singing on the same album?
Does this mean they will both sing on the same songs? Will they finally record a duet?
No word yet on who will play bass. It could be Eddie’s kid, Mikey or your next door neighbor at this point.
In December of 2018, radio host, Eddie Trunk, made a bogus claim that he heard a VH reunion was going to happen by the end of 2019, bringing original bassist, Michael Anthony back into the lineup. This reporting was later confirmed to be a total fabrication when Mikey himself admitted that he has not spoken to the band in years, since being kicked out for no good reason by the Van Halen brothers.
