CIRITH GORGOR – New Song Premiere

Dutch black metal band CIRITH GORGOR have premiered a new song entitled “Hellbound”, taken from their upcoming new album “Sovereign”, which will be released on April 5th (CD/LP/MC) by Hammerheart Records. It was recorded at Toneshed Recording Studio and Hongerwinter Studio, mixed by Erwin Hermsen at Toneshed, and mastered by Tore Stjerna at Necromorbus Studio.

In 2013-2014, Valtyr decides to shift to bass guitar and a new guitarist is found in the person of Valefor (from Dutch black metal bands World Funeral and Lux Haeretica). Furthermore, Satanael returns to the band as vocalist. With three motivated composers, the work on the new full-length album starts and progresses at an enormous speed. As a first feat of arms “Proclamation of Destruction” (featuring Levithmong on vocals) is recorded showing that, in spite of all setbacks and line-up problems, Cirith Gorgor has lost none of it’s brutality and intensity over the years. Due to the increasing demand, “Der Untergang” is finally released on CD by Ketzer Records in 2014. Selected gigs are performed culminating in a minitour through France and Belgium.
