The band that will never say die from Dallas, Texas is Drowning Pool… and the act has recently returned after playing a private show for the troops at Guantanamo Bay on Memorial Day, May 25.
Vocalist Ryan McCombs adds:
“Anytime we get the chance to play in front of the troops, it is a great honor and they’re always the best crowds. When we got the call we were like, ‘Hell yeah’, let’s go rock Guantanamo Bay. It’s a once in a lifetime chance and I don’t know of many artists that get an invitation like this.”
In other Drowning Pool news, the band is set to release the fourth radio single, “Shame,” from their latest record entitled Full Circle. They will join the Crüe Fest 2 tour with Mötley Crüe when it starts on July 19th in Camden, NJ.
Getcha some rockin’ metal music from good ole Drowning Pool!
