TMD has obtained bootleg concert audio of SOUNDGARDEN performing their final concert in Detroit, Michigan on May 17, 2017. Late frontman Chris Cornell was found dead in his hotel room an hour after the show was over in room #1136. In this excerpt clip from the concert you will hear the legendary rocker make what are among his final comments on stage and they are quite eerie now knowing the full context of the situation. As soon as the song “The Day I Tried To Live” ends, Chris breaks out into a mini rant about forces coming against he and the band:
“Nobody tells me what to do… nobody tells US what to do.”
“I don’t care if you burn crosses on your front lawn… as long as it doesn’t catch someone else’s
house on fire…”
Chris is said to have repeated these chilling words at concerts prior to this one, along with the band playing “In My Time Of Dying” as their final song. Was the singer secretly trying to tell the world something?
TMD earlier reported an alleged altercation is said to have taken place purportedly between Chris Cornell
and his bodyguard Martin Kirsten, according to an industry source.
Despite the ruling of ‘suicide by hanging’, many fans across the world believe foul play was certainly involved and that an elaborate cover-up has concealed the truth. The facts are that the rocker indeed suffered massive internal injuries, including 9 rib fractures, head trauma and a torn shirt, all consistent with someone who fought for their life.
Chris’ wife Vicky has objected to the ruling of suicide claiming her husband did not take his own
life intentionally, that Ativan anxiety medication altered his mood. Although instead of calling for a second evaluation of the body, she cremated the rocker before his funeral.
