THE METAL DEN – Calls It A Day!

Creator and Editor-In-Chief of TMD, Randy “Rocket” Cody, has issued the following statement:

“Den Headz, it is a sad final announcement that I must make. Today is the day I pull the plug on my great creation THE METAL DEN. I have been thinking about all of the good times and all the cool people I met through my work at TMD since I first started it all in February of 2005 on Myspace. Most importantly, I send much love out to my wife Hope! She has been my rock through it all. A guy couldn’t find a better woman to call his partner in life. Thanks goes out to all the hundreds of hard rock/metal webzines, labels and radio stations all around the globe that published and supported my work over the years!!

In the end, I learned a lot about myself and who I am as a person via the day to day dealings of
operating as a maverick in a very tough to penetrate industry… (excuse the pun) The special messages some of my fans have sent me directly thanking me for TMD, man, I really appreciate it, okay? Y’all have been the best ‘Headz’ any dude could have rocking with him, alright?

Well, that’s it for me. I need to go officially retire to eating bonbons and watching re-runs of Walker Texas Ranger now.
