Just when you thought 2010 couldn’t provide any more excitement before it’s officially over, METALLICA’s lead guitar player Kirk Hammett accidentally kicks a little child (first widely reported as belonging to James Hetfield, but actually the little lady is the daughter of the stage manager and dressing coordinator) off the stage during Metallica’s gig in Sydney, Australia on Thursday November 11.
The song playing? Yup, “Seek & Destroy”… and that’s exactly what ole Kirk did!! It all went down during the concert after they drop all those ridiculous ‘black balls’ that fall from the venue’s ceiling to let everyone know in attendance that you are at a rock show. Kirk goes around kicking the balls off the stage and the unsuspecting rug rat happens to be standing directly behind one of them.
