“The word on the street is that Ratt is on the ballot for a Grammy! The Ratt single “Best of Me” on ballot for best rock song performance and Ratt “Infestation” on ballot for best rock album for nomination Grammys 2011.
This is the first ever nomnination for the band in its nearly 30 year career!

Official 2011 Grammy nominations will be announced December 1st.
Randy “Rocket” Cody of The Metal Den adds:
“American glam metal band RATT have stormed back with a vengeance after more than a decade since their last studio effort. Vocalist Stephen Pearcy is back behind the mic reunited with guitarist Warren DeMartini and drummer Bobby Blotzer. They hired former QUIET RIOT axe man Carlos Cavazo to handle second guitar duties and replaced Juan Croucier with Robbi Crane on bass, then they kicked out the ‘glam anthems’ and got back to doing what they do best: rock with their balls out.”
The 53rd Grammy Awards is set to take place on February 13, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It will be broadcast on CBS.

I saw them 2 years ago & they sounded better than ever. They really rocked. Getting rid of that poser bass player was a good idea & Carlos Cavazo adds a great second guitar & vocals. I hope they get the nomination.
