Vince Neil Urges Nikki Sixx to Take Bass Lessons

TMD has been tipped off about new details emerging from the Mick Mars lawsuit against his former band, and it seems the constant infighting within the original band lineup has ultimately centered around Nikki Sixx’s lackluster approach to being a musician.

According to the leaked court docs, Mick received support from MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil, who actually submitted his own witness statement in defense of Mars being bullied by Sixx and Kovac. In the leaked documents, Vince Neil reportedly went on the record to admit that he urged his longtime bandmate, Nikki Sixx, to take bass lessons before the start of The Stadium Tour. This unexpected bombshell is sure to send shockwaves through the rock music industry and among the band’s devoted fanbase.

The Crüe, known for their wild antics and hard-hitting rock anthems, has seen its fair share of internal dynamics over the years. However, Neil’s call for Sixx to polish up his bass skills marks a new chapter in the band’s history.

The demand reportedly stems from Neil’s desire to elevate the overall musicality of the group. While Sixx has been a foundational part of Mötley Crüe since its inception, Neil seems to believe that refining Sixx’s bass technique could bring a fresh and improved dimension to the band’s sound.

Mars’ lawsuit confirmed what Randy “Rocket” Cody of TMD exposed in 2022 and 2023, when the legendary creator of TheMetalDen.com busted Tommy Lee fake drumming, along with Nikki Sixx fake playing along to prerecorded tape at live shows, while Neil who had ballooned in size again, did a God-awful lip sync performance.

Rocket comments:

“I told everyone long before it all happened that there was big time trouble within the Crue’s camp, and I also proved that sabotage was going on during their comeback gigs, and Mick was a target because he was seen as being “old and feeble” so they hatched a plan to fire the guitarist, once and for all. Mick never said he wanted to retire from the band and making music. All you idiots in the rock news media are clueless! Mick has always been open to performing a residency with the band, while limiting concert appearances, yes, due to his advancing age, but he has always been open to rocking out select shows at historic venues. And Sixx is the one who kept removing Mick’s playing from recent albums. He will prove all of this when he gets his time in court, and with his debut solo album dropping Februray 23, 2024, which again, TMD revealed this news first (along with preorder links) before anyone else in the rock game, got it? None of you are even smart enough to promote his music properly, not even the moron Eddie Trunk who interviewed Mick, that broadcast the same damn day Mick’s first single released.”

Fans are left speculating whether this move to have Nikki Sixx take bass lessons is driven by a quest for musical perfection or if there are underlying tensions within the band. Mötley Crüe has always been synonymous with a rebellious spirit, and this unexpected call for improvement challenges the established narrative of the band’s carefree, devil-may-care attitude.

Sixx, renowned for his songwriting contributions to Mötley Crüe continues to work on a new album for the band, 16 years after their last studio effort, has yet to publicly respond to Neil’s suggestion. The bassist, who has been a central figure in the band’s creative process, may view this as an opportunity for personal growth or as an unnecessary interference in his established role within the group.

Sixx himself had previously demanded that Neil lose weight and also that the rotund singer stop singing Crüe songs at Neil’s solo gigs.

Mötley Crüe fans, notorious for their loyalty and enthusiasm, are urged to take to social media to express their opinions on this development. While some welcome the idea of Sixx expanding his musical prowess, others might perhaps fear that this could disrupt the delicate balance that has defined Mötley Crüe’s signature sound for decades.

As the band navigates this uncharted territory, only time will tell whether Vince Neil’s call for Nikki Sixx to take bass lessons will lead to a harmonious evolution in Mötley Crüe’s music or if it will create discord within the tight-knit rock ensemble. One thing is certain – the world will be watching as the drama unfolds in the realm of Mötley Crüe.
