Mick Mars, the ex-lead guitarist and founding member of glam metal legends MÖTLEY CRÜE, is set to start his legal battle with the band in a court. Although he is ready to air all of the group’s dirty laundry, the band has now made a request to do it all the legal bickering behind closed doors, asking for the matter to be sent to ‘private arbitration’ instead of “the dirt” being publicly aired… imagine that. What is Nikki Sixx and Allen Kovac trying to hide from everyone?
In addition to keeping the details confidential, the band has also asked the court to remove several statements made by Mick in his lawsuit. These statements included some “damaging allegations” against his ex-bandmates, such as claims of substance abuse and physical violence. MÖTLEY CRÜE believes that Mars included these claims in his lawsuit solely for the purpose of character assassination.
One report in particular was blown up in the rock news media by TheMetalDen.com, as fans will recall about ex-Crue limo driver Al Bowman who claimed Vince Neil is drinking himself to death.
Word coming out of the band’s camp is that Neil’s battle with the bottle was a major impetus in the one-time astounding live performers, who have now turned into a cartoon parody of themselves, being forced to rely heavily on using backing tracks for main instrumentation and lead vocals during all of their concerts for The Stadium Tour. Sadly, fans can see this kind of fakery going on even today at their 2023 gigs, which have mostly not been getting good reviews either, despite the addition of a younger and more hip John 5.
Another came in December of 2021, when sources at The Metal Den reported that MÖTLEY CRÜE lead singer Vince Neil entered an alcohol rehab center in Texas. The report says this was recommended by his longtime friend Ozzy Osbourne during a private intervention. Ozzy also sent his daughter Kelly to the same facility recently.

In response to the CRÜEs attempts to resolve the issue through arbitration and strike out certain statements from the lawsuit, Mick’s lawyer, Ed McPherson, expressed his disagreement, stating, “This is yet another attempt by bullies to hide the truth!”
Mick Mars decided to take the matter to court and file a lawsuit against his former bandmates due to their alleged attempts to exclude him from the band’s profits.
There is no doubt that The Stadium Tour, while bringing in a ton of money to the participants, saw massive amounts of blowback against the glam metal band coming from the rock critics and fans for the poor way the tour went off, plagued by Tommy Lee’s “broken ribs” antics, and Fakey Lee getting busted by Rocket of TMD while clown miming behind the drum kit to backing tape, plus Neil’s inability to sing the act’s classic songs properly with a broken and busted up singing voice, leaving the band no other option but to rely on pre-recorded tracks. All of this was backed up by Mick Mars himself.
How desperate is Nikki Sixx and the Crue to beat Mars in the lawsuit? Well, now Kovac and Sixx have decided to attack the age of the legendary guitarist and his “cognitive” abilities while playing the guitar, despite the fact that Mars was the only musician in the band 100% performing live for real at the band’s 2022 concerts.
I called it again months before everyone else!!

Neil who received a 15-day jail sentence for killing Razzle of HANOI ROCKS, plus critically injuring two other people in a tragic 1984 drunk driving crash, has turned his recovery into a long drawn-out mockery of a serious problem that is killing too many innocent people, year after year.
A drunken Neil fell off the stage, appearing totally out of it at his solo gigs leading up to the launch of The Stadium Tour, including a show where the rotund singer actually quit singing during a song and admitted to the crowd that his “voice is gone”.
As the story goes, Sixx has been looking to force Mars out so that they could secretly steal Mars’ profits, by gaslighting the guitar icon, believe it or not.
It was Neil’s downward spiral on booze capped off by the inebriated during the infamous Vimeo video and the overweight and abusive singer purchasing a $10,000 bottle of booze that kickstarted the talks of bringing in a new singer, rumored to be ex-CREED singer Scott Stapp, who was already close to the band due to Stapp working with producer Marti Frederiksen, who also produced past Crue and Neil studio albums.

TMD has been tipped off that Stapp cut vocals for the new Crue album with AI technology, which essentially allows the vocals to for the album to be switched out while still sampling an earlier version of Vince Neil when he could really sing decades ago.
