This past spring MINISTRY added a new track titled “Goddamn White Trash” to their live sets. At the time, the group’s frontman Al Jourgensen announced a tentative August 4th release date for the band’s sixteenth studio album, which he revealed had a title of “Hopiumforthemasses“.As that date has already come and gone and no new Ministry album has arrived, some fans were left a little curious about the group’s plans. It has now just been revealed that the record is on track for a 2024 release.
The legendary band awaits the arrival of the studio version of “Goddamn White Trash“. The song and its official music video (directed by Dean Karr) will be released online this coming Thursday, August 17th. Included in the description of the video are pre-order links to “Hopiumforthemasses“, which specify March 01st release date has been slated via Nuclear Blast.“Hopiumforthemasses” track listing:
