MÖTLEY CRÜE has fired troubled vocalist Vince Neil for a second time, according to an industry source, and the band will continue their World Tour in 2023 with John Corabi, who also replaced Neil the first time he was fired in the early 90s.
Neil’s hard drinking and binge eating has become his biggest problem in recent years, and despite efforts to slim down and cut back on the booze, the rotund glam metal singer keeps getting larger, has fallen off the stage and injured his ribs, plus forgot how to sing. Worse than that, Neil’s voice is so wrecked from non-stop partying that he was forced to lip-sync at all of the Crue’s comeback concerts. TMD predicted this very thing would happen one year ago.
TMD first blew up the Mick Mars being replaced by John 5 news story that everyone said was fake, yet 11 days later Sixx and the Crue were forced to admit that it was indeed the truth via Variety. Now it turns out Sixx was lying again about the reason Mars left the band, to attempt to cover up the fact that the Crue is using pre-recorded tracks at all of their gigs, according to Carmine Appice.
The Crue with Crabs are scheduled for more World Tour concerts in May.
