Young metal outfit/YouTube sensations UNLOCKING THE TRUTH have landed a potentially lucrative 5-album recording contract with Sony. With an average age of 12-13, the groups 1.8 million dollar recording contract had to be approved by a judge due to their age.
That final sum is of course not without caveats as nypost.com reports that the group will receive a 60,000 advance and only begin to see any profit once the label recoups, in particular if their first album manages to shift over 250,000 copies.
