THE FUNERAL PYRE – Begin Writing New Album

California (USA) metal band THE FUNERAL PYRE is currently writing material for a new full-length. The group has written nine songs thus far and says that “We’ll probably be recording sometime early to mid next year. Song titles and album name will be decided upon later, so we’ll announce that once it’s set.”

Meanwhile, the band is “in talks” about doing a split cassette tape with The Dolemite Project. The release would be be extremely limited, likely in the realm of 100 copies.

Finally, later next year The Funeral Pyre also plans to release a 7″ comprised of new material.
