During their performance over the weekend at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER introduced their new “full-time” bass player, Max Lavelle. For video of said introduction, go here. Lavelle has previously done time in a handful of bands, including Despised Icon and Burn In Silence.
We’re not sure what happened to previous bassist Ryan “Bart” Williams, who has been with the band since 2005. Neither the band nor Williams has addressed his departure thus far.
