SLIPKNOT – Bassist Dead At 38

The metal world has lost another one of its great talents. It’s being widely reported that SLIPKNOT bassist Paul Gray was found dead this morning by a local hotel worker in Central Iowa. Gray, known as #2, or “The Pig”, was originally from Los Angeles – but eventually relocated with his family to Des Moines and joined SLIPKNOT. He played on every album by the multi-platinum selling act up to this point. Gray apparently had a darker side to his life, dealing with drugs and alcohol abuse. He had just gotten married and was reportedly expecting a child with his wife, Brenna, later this year.
