Rumor: MÖTLEY CRÜE Fired Mick Mars For Racist Slur Made In The Studio With John Corabi As Singer (UPDATED)

Well, it looks like ex-MÖTLEY CRÜE singer John Corabi was right after all. TMD has been tipped off about the real reason Mick Mars was secretly ousted by Nikki Sixx last year. A shocking video has come to light that was posted online via YouTube, and TMD has been informed that this video was already discovered by Sixx and the Crue’s attorneys. This is the reason Mars was abruptly fired.

Check out the video footage down below. At the 14:21 mark you can see Mars say about something what he is holding: “Looks like some goddamn n***** painting…” – Mick Mars

Corabi has been making his rounds in the media, claiming all along that “Mick was shown the door” and it seems that he knew because of the fact that the video includes him in the band when it happened around 1993-1994, and it was something that Sixx knew all along was going to become a problem and so he got out in front of it before the story blew up and damaged the band’s image. Not like all the fake concerts with each member but Mick getting busted using backing tapes didn’t hurt their once impeccable legacy, right?

Former OZZY guitarist Jake E Lee went on the record recently calling Mars a “racist”.

He recalls:

“I quit RATT. I had nothing going on. I was going to MÖTLEY‘s f*cking gigs… Nikki and Tommy wanted me in the band. They actually wanted me to replace Mick — which you can understand that. [I was] f*cking better looking and f*cking better playing.“They wanted me to replace MickMick‘s in-law or whatever was funding the band, so that didn’t happen. And there was [talk of MÖTLEY CRÜE] maybe [having] two guitar players, which even then, I was, like, ‘MÖTLEY CRÜE. Two guitar players. I don’t know about that.’ So, anyway, it kind of started with that. ‘Cause there was that thing going. Whether somebody denies it or not, that’s what started the rift between me and Mick.”
