Troubled MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil and legendary RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy will join forces for a special concert on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Spotlight Showroom at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella, California. Neil and Pearcy will appear with their respective solo bands and will perform classic songs from their epic catalogs.
TMD recently reported that Pearcy is apparently on Nikki Sixx’s short list of vocalists he purportedly wants to replace Vince Neil in the Crue, while the other names being tossed around include Sebastian Bach and ex-CREED singer Scott Stapp, believe it or not.
Neil‘s backing band still consists of bassist Dana Strum and guitarist Jeff “Blando” Bland from SLAUGHTER, along with drummer Zoltan Chaney.
Fans will recall Neil forgot how to sing the lyrics to a Crue song while performing at a live gig with his solo band last year, stating to the crowd “My voice is gone!” (Which is why a Teleprompter was brought into the Stadium Tour shows to assist the aging rocker) and then he actually fell off the stage at another concert, which, along with multiple last minute show cancellations, started speculation that he is drinking himself to death.
