Heavy Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne performed live at last night’s (September 8th) NFL game in Inglewood, CA. Osbourne took to the stage during halftime at the SoFi Stadium amid the Los Angeles Rams hosting the Buffalo Bills. As with Osbourne‘s performance this past August, he was once again aided by a bracket behind his back, as he continues to recover from mobility issues he has suffered since injuring himself a fall several years back that has required multiple surgeries since.
Only a brief portion of his performance actually aired on television, leading to many outraged fans who tuned in exclusively to see Ozzy, rather than the analyst who was given airtime in his place. Thus, if you want to see a more complete performance of his medley of the title track to his newly released album “Patient Number 9” and his 4x multi-platinum-certified 1980 single “Crazy Train“, you’ll have to refer to the below fan-filmed footage.
Backing Osbourne onstage for this performance was producer/musician Andrew Watt on guitar, Chris Chaney on bass and Tommy Clufetos on drums. As you’d expect, Zakk Wylde also took to the stage, joining the aforementioned backing band for “Crazy Train“.
