Scottish Heavy Metal Band DVL have signed a worldwide deal with WormHoleDeath for their album “Hush”, which is due for release on May 27th, 2022 worldwide.
Signing statement:
We are excited to announce that we have signed with WormHoleDeath Records and we look forward to working together on the release of our upcoming debut album, Hush.
About “Hush”
We’ve always had a natural attraction to the darker, more ominous sounds in music and we really leaned into that when we were writing Hush.
We wrote and demoed all the songs for over 2 and a half years before finally going to Italy and recording it with our engineer at Titans LAB Recording Studio in September 2020.
This album is like a book of short stories. Not a concept album but each song tells it’s own individual tale.
Musically we take cues from many genres and many artists but our writing is also heavily influenced by other media such as Horror film, comic books and video games.
To mark the news, DVL have offered a taste of the album by releasing their first single “Eternity (Radio Edit)”
