MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s legendary guitarist Mick Mars posted a Tweet last night right before midnight, and he spilled the beans on the truth about the Crue’s long awaited comeback:
“Ozzy, Adele, Elton John & Motley are all postponing tours until 2023”
@NikkiSixx I follow a few Motley Crue fan pages on Facebook and people are getting news the tour is being postponed again. Say it isn’t Soo please!

15 minutes later after posting this Tweet, the guitar wizard deleted it, but TMD captured a screenshot of the Tweet that fans can view above. The chances of this being a hoax is not very likely, unfortunately, because Mars is dead on correct with his statement. Yesterday, pop diva Elton John made his announcement that he was postponing two Dallas, Texas shows, as well as another huge pop diva, Adele, who, believe it or not, has now postponed her entire Las Vegas Residency dates. Ozzy Osbourne himself pushed his concert dates back to 2023, along with many others. Upcoming tour dates now for the Prince of Darkness’ No More Tours 2 are slated to happen starting on May 3, 2023.
COVID forces Adele to postpone entire Caesars run: ‘I’m gutted’
In a statement posted to his social media pages, Osbourne cited the COVID-19 pandemic as the impetus for postponing the tour.
“Due to the ongoing uncertainty with full capacity events and travel logistics… we have come to the difficult decision to postpone my 2022 tour to 2023. Original tickets remain valid for the new dates.”
