FLOTSAM AND JETSAM‘s planned August 25th show in San Francisco, CA at the DNA Lounge has been scrapped due to members of the band being unvaccinated for COVID-19. The city recently imposed a new mandate today, August 20th in which proof of full vaccination is required for admittance in gyms, restaurants, clubs, theaters and ‘high-contact indoor settings’. Masks remain mandatory while indoors as well. Outdoor venues remain unaffected by the mandate.
The DNA Lounge announced the cancellation of Flotsam And Jetsam‘s show as follows:
“We are sorry to report that the Flotsam And Jetsam are unvaccinated, and so we were forced to cancel this show. Get vaccinated! Especially if you are on tour!”
The band have since replaced the aforementioned cancelled date with an August 25th show at the Backstage Bar in Las Vegas, NV. The remainder of the group’s summer tour in support of their latest album “Blood In The Water” runs as follows:
08/20 Dallas, TX – Trees
08/21 El Paso, TX – Rockhouse Bar & Grill
