HEADBANGERS BALL – This Saturday’s Lineup

On June 7, 2008, at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, Pavlik made his first title defense of the middleweight championship against WBO #1 mandatory challenger Gary Lockett.

Pavlik defeated Lockett by third round TKO after Enzo Calzaghe, Lockett's trainer, threw in the towel after Lockett was down for the third time in the fight.
