Alexi Laiho Cause Of Death Revealed

When Children Of Bodom and (later) Bodom After Midnight co-founder Alexi Laiho passed away in late December at the age of 41, his death was attributed to “long-term health issues.”

Now, his widow (the pair were long-separated but still technically married) and friend Kimberly Goss has revealed via Instagram that Laiho died of “alcohol-induced degeneration of the liver and pancreas connective tissue.”

Furthermore, Goss added that Laiho had “a cocktail of painkillers, opioids and insomnia medication in his system.”
