Italian doom-metal five-piece group HADAL have unveiled the title track for their forthcoming second album “December”, due out on December 5th on Planet K Records.
The title track is now playing at Invisible Oranges, who commented “it’s some of the best doom metal I’ve heard this year. Simply put, it’s despair most stately, with markedly somber vocals and austere guitars creating a visage of cold nights to come.”

Born in late 2009 from the ashes of So Cold, Hadal is a doom-metal group from the depressive Italian town Trieste. Influenced by bands like Paradise Lost, Tiamat and Anathema, Hadal’s mission is to create a melancholic atmosphere, delivering dark and powerful riffs, along with poignant melodies and grieving vocals.
Three years following their debut album, “Painful Shadow”, the group is back with their second album aptly titled “December”, which will be released precisely in December and perfectly recaptures on sound the coldness, bleakness and miserable aspects of the last month of the year.
A cathartic vessel for their dark feelings and emotions, “December” sees Hadal taking that dark and desolate sound of early Paradise Lost, Anathema and My Dying Bride and merge it with mournful and beautiful melodies and at times that vile and cold atmosphere of black-metal. Pre-orders are now available at this location.
