Legendary American metallers MÖTLEY CRÜE will act as one of the new bands being featured on the ongoing MSG Concert Series. They will join the likes of Dave Matthews Band, Fall Out Boy and Kanye West. Road to MSG and MSG Concert Series will form a block of music programming on Tuesday nights during the summer on MSG, with episodes airing at 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm respectively.
“Playing Madison Square Garden is one of the highpoints in every artists career. It’s such a legendary building and it has its own special energy – you know you’ve arrived when you play the Garden,” said Nikki Sixx.
Part artist profile and part insider’s guide to Madison Square Garden, each half-hour episode of “Road to MSG” takes viewers on the bus and behind the curtain, providing an intimate look at what it takes to be a superstar. The MÖTLEY CRÜE feature will pull from their March 16, 2009 concert at Madison Square Garden – it will air on Tuesday, July 7.
