Belgian doom-metal collective THURISAZ have just shared a lyric video for a brand new track off the band’s forthcoming fifth album “Re-Incentive”, due out on September 1st.
Titled “The Veil”, this new video has premiered at No Clean Singing, who commented “The melodically rich music, which braids together elements of doom, death metal, and black metal (among others), does unmistakably sound like a very personal record, one that embodies and conveys heart-felt emotion, and the song we’re presenting today through a lyric video — “The Veil” — is a prime example of its compelling power.”

Recorded and engineered at CCR Studio by Kris Belean, Mettez Nick and Theuwen Peter, and mastered at Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren, the follow up to 2015’s “The Pulse of Mourning” fourth album shows a band in full command of their craft, perfectly balancing a dark, heavy atmosphere with some poignant and beautiful melodies. Overcoming the trials and tribulations of a seasoned band, this album really showcases Thurisaz in the best shape of their career.
