Bay Area thrash legends EXODUS are planning to enter the studio this fall to begin recording their follow-up to 2014’s Blood In Blood Out. Writing for the effort is underway now and tracking is slated to commence in September.
During a Q&A session hosted on the Marshall Amplification’s Instagram, guitarist Gary Holt had the following to say:
“I’ll be in the studio in September. [We’re] writing right now. We’ve got about six songs done and about a million riffs. And it’s crushing. We all say that, right? I’m not kidding. It’s something else. People are gonna hear this record and they’re gonna go, ‘Holy shit! Exodus is up to no good.'”
An early 2021 release via Nuclear Blast Records is expected.
