Australian metal act MAKE THEM SUFFER have posted their new song titled “Drown With Me.” The track is slated to appear on the band’s forthcoming album, How To Survive A Funeral, which arrives this summer via Rise Records. Check it out above.
“‘Drown With Me’ is just a really fucked up love song,” the band explains. “Love can be beautiful, but also dark and terrifying. The lyrics ‘Take my hand, don’t be scared, drown with me if you can’ beckons the listener to take the plunge into the unknown.”
Make Them Suffer is a metal band from Perth, currently signed to Rise Records. Their debut album “Neverbloom” peaked at No. 56 on the ARIA Album charts in June 2012, while its follow up “Old Souls” debuted at No. 30 upon release in May 2015. After the band signed with Rise, the label released an expanded version of Old Souls in August 2016, containing also the EP Lord of Woe (originally self-released in 2010) and a new track, “Ether”.
