The spring tour featuring TESTAMENT, along with The Black Dahlia Murder, Municipal Waste and Meshiaak is being rescheduled. That run had originally been booked to run from April 20th through to May 15th. The Black Dahlia Murder issued the following statement on the matter earlier today, April 13th:
“It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the elephant in the room aka the rescheduling of our big US tour with Testament and Municipal Waste, as well as our headlining off dates to, from, and between the scheduled Testament shows. Our new album “Verminous” is still coming out April 17th on Metal Blade Records. Standby for more live info soon!”
The tour was of course postponed amid COVID-19 concerns—a disease members of Testament have some firsthand experience with. Both Testament frontman Chuck Billy and bassist Steve Digiorgio contracted the disease along with members of Exodus and Death Angel during a European tour that concluded last month. They are said to have all since recovered.
Testament‘s new studio album “Titans Of Creation” was released on April 3rd. The Black Dahlia Murder‘s new record “Verminous” will is slated to drop this Friday, April 17th.
