NAGLFAR unveiled the title track of their new album, Cerecloth, which arrives on May 8 through Century Media. The Jakob Arevarn-directed video can be viewed above.
Naglfar comment: “We are proud to hereby reveal the title-track from our upcoming album. ‘Cerecloth’ marks our first cooperation with Umeå-based Arevärn Film, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the result. This is a perfect presentation of what Naglfar is about in the year 2020. We hope that you will enjoy.”
Naglfar is, according to the Prose Edda, a ship made up of the nails of the dead (which is also the etymological meaning of its name) which will be put at sea at Ragnarök.
Bass player Kristoffer Olivius replaced Jens Rydén as vocalist, and the band’s former drummer Morgan Lie returned as the new bassist (initially only as a live guest).
In 2011, the band stated on their Facebook page that they would continue as a trio, consisting of Kristoffer, Andreas, and Marcus.
