OZZY – To Release New Studio Album In 2020

Ozzy Osbourne‘s new studio album is presently being lined up for a January release according to his wife and business overseer Sharon Osbourne. Ozzy recorded the album earlier this year as he continues to recuperate from a fall which left him with debilitating injuries.

The sessions were completed following his guest appearance on Post Malone‘s track “Take What You Want“. That experience led Osbourne to record the album with Malone‘s producer, Andrew Watt. Speaking recently on ‘The Jess Cagle Show‘ on SiriusXM, Sharon said of her husband’s health and plans:

“He’s getting there. He had a very, very bad accident this year, but he’s getting there. He’s just finished an album, and the album is coming out in January. And he’s doing good. He’s very excited about the duet he did with Post and also Travis Scott. It’s doing great. It’s at Top 40 radio, and it’s climbing up every week. It’s doing good.”

While Ozzy and guitarist Zakk Wylde reunited on the road several years back, Wylde recently mentioned that he had no involvement with this upcoming record. Osbourne is currently scheduled to return to the road in the spring with the below dates booked. You can find tickets for that run here.
