SLEEP TOKEN – Sign With Spinefarm Records

SLEEP TOKEN have signed with Spinefarm Records and are set to release their debut album titled “Sundowning” on November 22nd via the label. The band intend to release each of the songs from the outing sequentially as singles every two weeks at sundown (GMT) leading up to the album’s release. The first track “The Night Does Not Belong To God” is available above.

For those who are not yet familiar with the group, an official press release had the following to say about the meaning behind the title of their debut record:

‘Sundowning, or sundown syndrome, is a neurological phenomenon associated with increased confusion and restlessness in patients with delirium or some form of dementia. The term ‘sundowning’ was coined due to the timing of the patient’s confusion. For patients with sundowning syndrome, a multitude of behavioral problems begin to occur in the evening or while the sun is setting…’
