DISMEMBER – To Play Scandinavia Deathfest

DISMEMBER have announced the reunion of their original lineup with intentions to take to the stage together for the first time in 20 years this October. The band have been confirmed for the 2019 ‘Scandinavia Deathfest‘ which will be held at the Kraken Sthlm and Slaktkyrkan in Stockholm, SWE on October 11th-12th.

“Longtime proponents of the grinding, powerful sound of no-frills Swedish death metal, Dismember was originally formed in Stockholm in 1988 as a power trio featuring vocalist/bassist Robert Sennebäck, guitarist David Blomqvist, and drummer Fred Etsby. The group recorded a couple of demo tapes, but went on hiatus in late 1989 when Estby left to join Carnage.” – AllMusic

Returning for the show are vocalist Matti Kärki, guitarist David Blomqvist, guitarist Robert Sennebäck, bassist Richard Cabeza and drummer Fred Estby. Other bands confirmed for the aforementioned festival include:
