Australian deathcore outfit THY ART IS MURDER has announced plans to imminently drop a new 7-inch. The release will feature a new song and will arrive this Friday, November 23 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Further details have yet to be revealed.
Thy Arts Is Murder are a band that formed in Sydney, Australia in 2006. They have released four full-length albums and three EPs to date. Their latest album was released on August 18, 2017 through Nuclear Blast Records. Their second album titled Hate debuted at no. 35 on the ARIA Charts, making them the first extreme metal band to ever reach the Top 40 of this chart, while Holy War debuted at no. 7, the highest-ever position for an Australian extreme metal act.
After a flurry of lineup changes, the group headed into the studio to lay down tracks for its debut long-player, the Skull & Bones-issued The Adversary (2010). In 2012 the band released its sophomore studio LP, Hate, through Aussie independent label Halfcut, leading to a record deal with Nuclear Blast, which reissued the album the following year.
